Sláinte means ‘health’ in gaelic. It’s used in the same way that ‘cheers’ is when your drinking.
Spent an hour doing this instead of all the other work i have to do. I’m definitely going to design a gaelic-inspired typeface in the near future.

A series of ten postcards that work as a unit.
These are based on my concept of time, which is written on each card. The reason we have powerful natural forces, such as tornadoes and volcanoes is because all of these things get built up over time. It took millions of years to create the conditions necessary for a thunderstorm and almost endless amounts of time for rocks to build and erode away, and water to form a gargantuan waterfall. The reason these spectacular events happen is because of time. Because time keeps everything from happening all at once, and spaces things out gradually, these natural spectacles are allowed to happen.

I have no time for this thing, but I was on my laptop backing up what I have done of my portfolio (!!!!!!!!!!!) and decided to drop this in here. Nice scan of a recent silkscreen. ‘unrequited love’. I usually don’t title things but i thought it fit.
